Your Image and The Guy Capturing It.

I’ve made the switch to a page that allows blogging and I couldn’t be more excited. A brief intro! I am Erik Cooper, a photographer located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I am a specialist in fashionable looks for portraits and commercial images. That said, I have a passion for working with people on all image needs that extend from individual portraits to commercial and corporate look books and portfolios. This is an ongoing pursuit that I study and develop with everyday as a full time profession. I enjoy everything in the photo world and industry as it all is relatable. Lighting, composition and creativity all come together to wow the eye and viewer. This makes what I do incredibly satisfying. There are few things in life more stimulating than seeing one’s work in print or on a clients website or social pages. This is a passion!

This, the first blog, is special to me as I’ve found a way to register my direction in text. My goals are always the same, to develop and grow in my understanding of image needs and styles. I’m interested in working with clients that are looking for the latest concepts in their image needs. I’m all about avoiding the cliché!
